Our Story
Hi, I’m Alison—dog lover, and founder of MyDug Home Boarding alongside my husband Fraser. We've been welcoming wagging tails into our home since 2017, providing a safe, secure, and loving environment where dogs can feel truly at ease while their owners are away.
We live with our three resident fluffballs: Rosie, Brodie and Alfie. They're very much part of the team and love having new pals to play and snuggle with.
In 2023, we were honoured to be awarded Home Boarding of the Year at the Scottish Local Pet Awards—a recognition we’re incredibly proud of, and a reflection of the genuine love and care we put into every pup’s stay.
At MyDug, we believe dogs deserve more than just a place to sleep—they deserve a home full of kindness, cuddles, and a few cheeky treats too. Whether it’s their first visit or their fifth, your dog will be treated like one of our own.

Your pup will be loved and cared for in our safe, secure, and CCTV-monitored home. We treat every dog like family—tail wags and belly rubs included!
Safety First, Always
We’re K9 First Aid trained, fully insured, and have a secure garden with airlock entry to keep your furry friend safe and sound at all times.
Playtime Paradise
With access to a fully secure playfield, your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise, social time, and zoomies galore! Fresh air and happy tails guaranteed.

From picky eaters to pups needing daily meds, we’re happy to accommodate dietary and medical needs—just let us know how to help!
Our Team.
These three aren’t just part of the family—they're the heart of MyDug. Rosie, Brodie, and Alfie are our in-house welcome committee, cuddle supervisors, and playtime pros. They help create a calm, social environment and are always ready to share their home (and maybe a comfy spot on the sofa) with new doggy guests.
